Customer acquisition: build a campaign you can evaluate

Connect audience, offer, conversion and sales capacity before expanding your acquisition channels.

Start with one offer

A campaign cannot explain an entire business at once. Choose an offer, an audience and a next action: a conversation, a trial or a purchase. Write one sentence explaining the problem addressed and what a prospect can reasonably expect. A stronger claim is not automatically a clearer proposition.

Work backwards from a sales goal

Estimate the qualified conversations and contacts needed to support a target. Ten sales from fifty qualified conversations implies a 20% conversion assumption. That is a scenario, not a forecast. Compare it with actual results and keep impressions, visits, replies and customers separate rather than blending unlike measures.

Check delivery and sales capacity

Acquisition creates little value if nobody follows up. Decide who responds, how enquiries are qualified and how many new clients your business can serve. Include sales time and delivery costs in the economics. A low cost per enquiry can still produce an unprofitable campaign when enquiries take substantial work to convert.

Diagnose the stage, not just the total

Few replies suggest reviewing audience selection and messaging. Many unsuitable replies suggest a qualification problem. Useful conversations without decisions call for a closer look at the offer and next step. Change one identifiable element at a time so improvements can be interpreted rather than guessed.

Prepare for +PaidMembers

The +PaidMembers journey starts with your business and commercial assumptions before explaining the service. Bring the information you actually know: your current offer, audience, response rate and monthly capacity. These constraints make planning more useful. A questionnaire alone cannot establish a guaranteed number of future customers.
